Among Kathy’s  collection is a uniquely beautiful Acrylic painting in pastel colors called Mother's Bouquet,  was released August 8, 2000, as a signed and numbered Limited Edition print using the Iris Giclee (pronounced zhee-clay) printmaking process. Iris Giclee printmaking offers one of the highest degrees of accuracy and richness of color available in any reproduction technique. Prominent art museums such as The Museum of Modern Art, Guggenheim, Smithsonian, Los Angeles Museum of Modern Art and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York have hosted exhibitions featuring Iris Giclees.

The patented printing technology uses microscopically fine droplets of ink to form the image. A print can consist of nearly 20 billion ink droplets. Iris Giclee printmaking provides a luminosity and brilliance that represent the artist’s original work better than any reproduction technique available today. The Mother’s Bouquet edition has been printed with Equipoise ink on Somerset Velvet Radiant White 250 gram watercolor paper mould made in England. The paper is 100 percent cotton, neutral pH, with a softly textured finish. The results are sophisticated printmaking techniques combined with superior ink and paper giving you a museum quality limited edition print.

The original Mother’s Bouquet Acrylic painting on watercolor paper was created in the Spring 2000 over a period of several months. The artist’s reflections about the painting include these comments, "The title of the painting came first, then the painting took shape. There were many changes along the way, but I truly believe this is a painting guided by every Mother’s love for her children, unbound by time and space."

"And, I’m delighted with the results," continued Kathy. " This is also the first time I’ve taken advantage of Iris Giclee, and I’m so pleased not only with the faithful reproduction of the true colors of the original painting, but with the extraordinary flexibility to order the prints as I receive requests for them; then shipping the prints to the customer within three weeks of the order being placed."

Mother’s Bouquet is being offered in three sizes with a limited edition of only 50 prints in each size.

The printmaker will be notified weekly, on each Monday, to fill the orders received. Payment in full must accompany each order.  Your print will be shipped flat to you within three weeks, protected with acid-free wrapping. The acid-free wrapping will allow you to store the print safely until you are ready to have it framed. A Certificate of Authenticity accompanies the print. Each print will be signed and numbered within the image unless otherwise requested, allowing you to mat up to the image.
